"The course of history shows that as a government grows, liberty decreases."
This Saturday, July 26, 2014, the Ohio Liberty Coalition is offering a training event, from 10 am to 3:30 pm on Lewis Center, OH, near Columbus.
Topics include voter integrity, Common Core, property rights, veterans issues, religious freedom, Workplace Freedom Amendment project, and more.
Admission is free.
Follow the link to "Reload 4 Liberty" to learn more and to register for the event.
A Public Records/Open Meetings training event will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 6 PM to 9 PM at the new Butler Township Meeting Hall, 3780 Little York Road (next to the Fire Station).
This is a tool for citizens to know what public agencies and public officials are doing and to allow us to stay informed. Ohio law states that the records belong to the people and with few exceptions, they are accessible to us. But we need to know how to access them and what are the parameters for inspecting or obtaining them.
This workshop will be provided by Mark Weaver, former Deputy Attorney General under AG Betty Montgomery; in that capacity, he was instrumental in the policy application of the law. Mr. Weaver is an expert in this area of the law.
The cost of the training is $20. If you are interested in attending the training, please RSVP by responding to email@example.com; when you do so, you will be given an address to which to send your check for $20.
